England will host Ukraine at Wembley Stadium on 5 December at 5:30 p.m. GMT in the second leg of their 2027 Women’s World Cup play-off, the Football Association has confirmed. The teams must first play an away leg for England; its venue has yet to be announced.

What is at stake?

England reached this final European play-off round by beating Greece 8–1 across two matches. Ukraine also advanced from the first round. The Wembley game will conclude their two-leg tie, with a place at the tournament in Brazil at stake under UEFA’s play-off rules. England has not yet qualified.

What happens next?

The first-leg venue and its full match details still need confirmation. The FA says any tickets remaining after its England+ priority window will go on general sale on 22 October. Supporters planning a trip to Wembley can now fix the home-leg date while awaiting the away-leg announcement.
