Three regional clusters

To cut down on travel for teams and fans, the 16 venues are grouped into three regions rather than strict national lines: a Western region linking the Pacific coast with Guadalajara; a Central region anchoring the heartland and Mexico’s northern hubs; and an Eastern region running up the Atlantic seaboard from Miami to Toronto.

The venues that matter most

  • AT&T Stadium, Dallas (94,000) — the largest venue of the tournament and host to nine matches, including a semi-final.
  • Estadio Azteca, Mexico City (83,000) — hosts the opening match and becomes the first stadium ever to stage three different World Cups.
  • MetLife Stadium, New York/New Jersey (82,500) — hosts the final on July 19, 2026.
